Headline Media UK delivered virtual media training workshops for senior representatives of The Fostering Network, a UK charity supporting foster carers.
Through a mixture of theory and realistic interview simulations, our sessions focused on developing communication confidence across a range of media formats.
“The workshops covered a wide range of essential topics – including the key questions to consider before accepting a media interview, strategies for managing challenging questions, and effective techniques for delivering core messages,” said Jasmine Rapson, Press and Communications Officer.
“Everyone’s confidence in media interviews had significantly grown by the end of the sessions.”
Jasmine continued: “Our chief executive Sarah Thomas said it was the most comprehensive media training she’d ever been through, adding that the structure and the preparation beforehand enabled the team to gain the best possible learning and test their skills to the right level.”
The Fostering Network is the UK’s leading fostering charity and membership organisation, founded 50 years ago by foster carers, for foster carers.
