Headline Media UK delivered a one-day media training workshop to representatives of the Young People in Horticulture Association (YPHA).
Through a mixture of theory and realistic interview simulations, built around current industry talking points, the session focused on developing communication skills across media interviews, public speaking, podcasts and panel discussions.
The YPHA was created to unite under 35s working in horticulture, to better facilitate collaboration, education and innovation.
The organisation’s primary focus is exploring ways the industry can attract a younger demographic, both as future horticultural employees and as customers for garden centres.
