MEDIA TRAINING FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES

Headline Media UK was commissioned to provide media training for representatives of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) UK.

Providing accommodation and support for families of sick children undergoing treatment at UK hospitals, RMHC invited us in to help build a network of media spokespeople to spread the word about its important work.

Our media training workshops were attended by almost 30 spokespeople in all, from England, Scotland and Wales.

The sessions included understanding how the media works and what journalists are looking for, before moving into interview preparation and key message communication.

The theory was put to the test through a series of simulated interviews, with all scenarios tailored to the roles and needs of each individual trainee.

We received excellent feedback from all those attended our media training sessions, including experienced spokespeople and absolute beginners.

We’ve had a great training day today. I feel really confident that I’ve now got some fantastic spokespeople, who are ready to go and do broadcast interviews.
